Recruitment Process

Find out how to go through the recruitment process at Capgemini. We currently work in a hybrid model. The recruitment and induction training process usually takes place online.

Prepare for your interview

Familiarize yourself with the different stages of the recruitment process, assess your level of language skills according to international criteria and find out what to consider when interviewing with a recruiter.pod uwagę przy rozmowie z rekruterem.

I. Online application

You send your CV for the position you are interested in.

II. First contact

If your application meets the criteria of the offer, approximately 2 weeks (or sometimes within two days) after sending your CV, a representative of the recruitment department will call you to arrange an interview. Please note, however, that we only contact selected candidates who meet the key requirements for the position.

III. Interview with the recruiter

Depending on the position you are applying for, the interview will last approximately 30-60 minutes. During this time you will talk about yourself, your experience and qualifications. At this stage it is possible to verify your language skills through conversation. We also try to establish financial expectations or preferences regarding business travel.

IV. Competency testing

This stage is not the rule, but for some positions where customer service in a foreign language is required, online language tests may be conducted. There may also be tests or technical tasks to check the specialized competences of the candidates.

V. Substantive interview

At this stage, you will speak to the manager of the department. These interviews usually take place online. In the case of technical roles, a technical competency checker is always present.

VI. Completion of recruitment

Based on the final interview, a decision is made about your employment. The recruiter contacts both the selected person and the others. If you are invited to any stage of the interview, you can expect feedback usually within a few days. Remember to write down the contact details of the person who interviewed you.

What is the recruitment time?

Unfortunately, there is no rule for how long it takes to recruit for particular positions. Both the length of the process and the stages of recruitment can vary, depending on the number of applications to be considered, the technical requirements of the position, the language requirements that need to be verified before employment. We reliably analyse all CVs to optimally match candidates with jobs. The average recruitment time is between three weeks and a month, but the process can be shorter, or it can take longer. Remember, even if you are unsuccessful in recruiting for a position, you can always apply again once you have completed your qualifications, improved your language skills, or if you choose another offer.

Prepare for the interview

Assess your level of language skills

For the purpose of the recruitment process, it is important to indicate in your CV your level of knowledge of foreign languages according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, from A1 to C2. In our company, apart from Polish, we also speak English. This is how we communicate with teams from other countries or with people who do not speak our native language, as well as with many of our customers. If you are applying for a position where you will be working with an English-speaking client, the minimum level of language proficiency required is B2, but it is not uncommon to have a higher level such as C1. Language proficiency will be tested in a conversational interview.

Check what work experience is required

We offer jobs to people with different levels of professional experience. We are looking for people in managerial and expert positions, with a lot of work experience. We are also hiring for senior as well as junior specialists. We also have positions for those, whom we train from scratch, hence we do not require them to have prior experience. Each business unit within Capgemini Poland also runs internships and development programmers for trainees and those who have just completed their education.

Check the job offer for working time schemes

We employ full-time as well as part-time positions. If a position is available on a part-time basis, this will be stated in the job advertisement (e.g. 20 or 30 hours per week). For some positions, it is possible to work remotely, and this is always indicated in the job advertisement. We have different working hours, which depend on the working system of our teams and also our clients. Some people work flexible shifts, where you can adjust your arrival and departure times within the standard 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some people work shifts, where you are required to be on strict duty and you have to be on time from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. one day and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. There are also teams that have night shifts. The time requirements of the position will be discussed by the recruiter during the interview.
